Legendary Potential Not Showing When Comparing Items

I noticed earlier that when I was comparing two of the same item that I wanted to wear until I upgrade one to legendary that the potential does not show when the items appear side by side.

Not sure if this is intended or a bug, but having the LP visual while comparing to make mental notes would be welcomed
