They really aren’t. It’s being held in escrow until you have the “space” to take the gold yourself. Now, that begs the question as to why the two caps are the same. But if you think they’re “stealing” from you, please don’t try to buy a house or do any large transactions involving lawyers.

Yeah, and that’s fair. It’s weird why you can’t do that.

It’s really not & that’s a ridiculous metaphor.

If you’re saying that’s not really true. Then answer me specifically. When (at what amount of “space”) will I see 1.5 billion gold in my bag? It’s been 2 days now, I have reduced my gold from 1.7 billion to 700 million. but I don’t see any gold. maybe on legacy I will see it, and if not? Do your words even make sense?

That’s exactly right. I looted a red ring, went in the next day and found I didn’t have it. Do I have a ring that drop to me? NO. Do I have gold for this ring? NO. Is that my fault? NO.

That’s because the character gold cap is 1.5 billion (according to @Kulze) so if you were to be able to claim that 1.5 billion you sold the ring for with your current amount of gold you’d loose 700m.

Which is why I said the next bit:

And by that, I meant that it’s odd that you can’t use the gold held in the market escrow to buy stuff, which would be one way round the problem you’re facing.

Nope.

They do, but it helps if you’ve done something like buy a house (hence my comment to that effect), or were capable of using google to find out the meaning of words.

That’s not what you said. You said you sold it but can’t redeem the gold. You can quite clearly see that the gold for the sale is being held for you.

I had 1.7 billion. And i had no problem taking 50k, 100k, 400k from an auction. So I’m not sure what the character gold cap is 1.5 billion

upd. Ok. I spent another 500 million (to the 1 billion already spent) on garbage and was able to get my 1.5 billion. Im so happy (no)

Thanks for bug fixes.
