I had this issue until I restarted Steam and forced the 1.2.0.4 update
I agree that a heads up on the maintenance would be nice in the future, but I appreciate the retrospective insight into a potential abuse and thank you for jumping on this!!!
Also, for those that don’t read (comments), EHG Foton already spoke on 1.2.1. It’s coming. Relax.

We are also working to rectify these items and target accounts that knowingly abused this.
What does that mean exactly? How are players supposed to know if that interaction was intended or not?
Most people could tell right away if a horse farmer suddenly had unicorns on his ranch. This is the exact same situation.
My Steam client and game client are up to date, still getting infinite loading screen after character select.

Hopefully there is a fix for the targeting issue of Areial assault. Feels horrible having to stop and face the direction. If you click then look away before it cast it will cast where you are facing. Class is not enjoyable because of this please fix !
