Reworked the Isle of Storms quest, to avoid a possible progression block. The entire collect the Moon Fragments step has been removed, along with the two altars. The portal to Lagon’s Temple now appears right after speaking with Liath in the Moonlit Shrine.
Your efforts to unburden all the Loot Lizards of Eterra have been paying off! Many of the Loot Lizards are now safely back at home having been freed of their burdens. In response, the factions employing them are becoming more wary of sending their Lizards into the world.
Blue and White Loot Lizards now start spawning in area level 12 and above. This prevents players finding Idols before having any Idol slots unlocked in normal gameplay scenarios
Loot Lizards spawn less frequently, especially in the campaign
Loot Lizard shrines are less common, especially in the early game
Fewer lizards are blue, this makes the other types more common.
All Loot Lizards, other than the blue lizard, drop more of their main types of loot.
Lizard shrines are less common, especially early in the game
All Loot Lizards drop more crafting materials
Bug Fixes
Fixed item labels being spread too far apart for many users.
Reduced frame-lag that would happen when switching stashes via the cycle dropdown. Also reduced frame-lag when adding or interacting with stash tabs or categories.
Fixed case with passive trees where two passive points of a node would be respecced instead of only one. Also fixed a case where pressing “enter” while confirming to respec a single node would result in a respec of all nodes.
Fixed Gambler items overlapping after refresh.
Fixed an issue where the keybind menu could break after re-entering the game through character selection.
Hotfix 1.1.7.3
Bug Fixes
Reverted stash tab optimization changes due to inventory graphical issues. We will continue investigating this to get a new fix out as soon as possible.
The fixes are great, thanks for doing this for the community. Do you have any ETA or at least progress to share with the memory leak issues? Having to restart the game every hour or so is very discouraging, and I’m running on a relatively strong rig (4060TI and i5 13400, up to date drivers).
Great fixes, but sadly there are 2 major issues that came with this patch. Both are UI issues.
Artifacts are left in the inventory.
This is by far the more annoying bug from the two. After clicking “transfere materials” some boxes in the inventory remain white. Some are leftover images from old items. They don’t go away and it looks absolutely aweful and confusing.
Stash UI is spaced far apart and tiny.
The tabs and categories have huge spaces between them. The text is tiny. The configure tab menu is normal though.
Edit: Oh and I’m another one sad to see less of those adorable little fellows. They are fun and awesome.
Thanks for working hard on the game! This has been a really fun seasonal start making the game exciting for me to play thru campaign and get things to mess with having extra crafts and early exalts can really spice up things!
I really hope that the less grindy part of the xp for factions stays permanent I really can’t imagine most of the player base being like well i got my character 100% perfect no reason to play more let alone I would love to get my character min/max and try others but atm it feels like a whole season to dedicate to one character if u want to farm your own items instead of using merchant guild…I just enjoy finding and crafting my own gear but to each their own!
We just released a new hotfix 1.1.7.3 which reverts the change which was causing these graphical artifacts. We will be continuing to investigate stash optimization to get a new fix out ASAP.
I very very rarely post but I have to say, honestly, that the nerf to the loot lizards was WAY too hard and playing for 30 minutes and not seeing one is just so depressing after enjoying it so much for the first 5 days. I almost feel depressed playing the game now, like nothing changed except a character reset now. Leave some fun in the game for the casuals, not just the power gamers.
-edit_ I realize this was a bit dramatic but let me put it in a more concise way. If this is for the cyclone only I don’t see why it should be nerfed. The only thing that needed a nerf was the blue lizards and the crazy amount of idols that were dropping. If this is coming to core which I have to assume it will, then nerf it to be more of a “core” feature. Which tends to mean a bit watered down to make it uncommon instead of frequent.
A feedback on steam deck, I know it’s still not the final verified version, but some update in that direction should have been made as said the patch note, but I still see a lot of lag even in the campaign after few time playing, the setting are at the lowest possibile options
