Bug Fixes
- Fixed cases where, after a shade echo, the player would have access to the incorrect timeline from the rest zone
This is the patch note for the 1.0.8.4 hotfix, but do we still not have patch notes for 1.0.8.4?
1.2.3.4
1 - Major version: this number changes when there’s a very significant addition to the game, many would refer to this as “expansions” (to be clear: we aren’t planning purchasable expansions - our plan is for future content additions to be included as live service updates)
2 - Version: this number changes based on major updates to the game, such as new mechanics, content, or other. This typically refers to the cycle patch
3 - Sub-version: This number changes when there’s a planned update to the game, such as the weekly patches at the start of a cycle
4 - Hotfix: This number is not always present. it indicates a hotfix added to the game - a patch which is made in response to something, rather than as a scheduled patch.
This is 1.0.8.4, meaning it’s the fourth hotfix issued for patch 1.0.8 - Last Epoch 1.0.8 Patch Notes
You should write it as Sub-version. Subversion has a different meaning
Force of habit from years of experience with SVN where it’s very intentional, haha.
I’m pretty sure the above poster is referring to hotfix 1.0.8.3, which just sort of came and went without any documentation on what happened. It’s not on the official forums where the other hotfix notes are, at least.
This has fully resolved the issue from what I can see with offline, where the echo map you ended up in was fall of the outcasts after doing any kind of echo web altering echo. Thank you very much for this, it was really annoying to have to waypoint back to the correct echo web. Greatly appreciated.
1.0.8.3 was purely backend system changes, no user facing changes.
@EHG_Kain - Has Earthquake’s Aftershock been fixed yet?
I’ve been looking every patch note since 1.0 through. Yet I can’t find any mention of Earthquake and Aftershock.
Is it still going to be bugged for 1.1?
