Don’t be so harsh people, maybe we’ll get a small jpg again which they call ‘teaser’ and tells is absolutely jack all. There’s hope, right?

A little birdie told me EHG is waiting to see when the next PoE2 reset is going to be so they can appropriately select their Season 5 launch date :slight_smile:

Maybe we will get two cookie recipes in the July Eterra Monthly, since there probably isn’t much to talk about for July, as the communication dropped off quite a bit. It’s been a long, dry summer for sure.

Lol the next ‘reset’ is 0.5.5 and it’s a month long event which will likely be first week of September after GamesCon (think thats the name of it) and then 1.0 will be round December. I really don’t think that little birdy has realised that POE2 players don’t influx madly to LE now. Look at the last season with a peak of 43k players and POE2s 0.5 having over 400k. LE has halved in peak numbers season 2 with 150k then season 3 with 70 and then season 4 with 43k - the only “timing” is how fricking slow each season is. They don’t have capability to time things because they’re always so far behind because they’re working on 3 seasons ahead and filling the next release with hardly any new content. This should be the Etjokera Monthly.

True, this month (August) was a perfect time to drop Season 5 and clearly they aren’t ready - so sad.

Yeah its crazy they aren’t ready if they’ve been working on season 5 since at least season 3, maybe season 2 and to be here, now way over a year ago its just mind boggling. Then when it does drop and they add 1 new mechanic, maybe finish the 2 chapters and add a few skills you ask yourself why it’s taken so long for the amount they give us… :frowning:

Yes, that’s why it’s a teaser. If you want a reveal or release, those are very different things.

LE: Picture which is meaningless. And primarily that.

PoE: Item peek, mechanical peek, QoL changes. Especially in the mechanical peeks there’s other mechanics intentionally shown to allow speculation what and how something could mean, with a realistic chance to get it in the right direction. Even already information during ongoing leagues for the coming ones with distinct information ‘Yes, this mechanic will change with guarantee as it’s too powerful’ for example.

Come on… the difference is night and day. What a poor argument. And I won’t get further into what a proper teaser is and when… but damn, EHG is piss-poor in that regard.

Just 1 word: “Incompetent” in all aspect. Even Grim Dawn’s Misadventure series that build up overtime for their new DLC are miles better than these “picture” teasers, Eterra Monthly bs. I don’t think Crate even has a proper community manager nor some “streamer” who pops on every Friday just to show a picture and “I can’t talk about it” :woozy_face:

This is pretty much what all sausages are haha just nasty tubes of mashed up crap - don’t get me wrong I’ll still eat them but really they’re pretty gross.

The concept “art” we get for teasers is average at best. It could be anything it doesn’t make me curious or hyped it just makes me mad. They have no idea how to tease in a manner that makes people buzz. When was the last time you saw an image from them and went HOOLLLLY FRICKING HECKY THUMP THIS IS AWESOME!!!

I saw that helm and was like meh probably a necro lid. The armour which looks like a spriggan just got naked and hopped in the shower? Holy shit cos we haven’t had enough really mid stuff added to the primalist class lately that hasn’t addressed how clunky and weak beastmaster and his companions are or how poorly they play and how lacking in minion damage scaling tags they are. Sorry, I have mad beef with how bad BM is.

Lastly a flask, cool, not.

First off… the other way around. The UK sports a bit more then 50 traditional ‘pork bangers’ (yes… yes that’s the traditional term, and I just had to use it :stuck_out_tongue: ) wheres germany offers around 1500 distinct types of ‘Wurst’. German is the sausage country, that’s what they’re known for.

And besides that I agree with @Donzpie . It doesn’t matter how you try to argument here, not only is overall sentiment against you but it’s also on a objective manner just sub-par in content quality and often also quantity. Teasers have a buildup, they aren’t just ‘drop this picture and that’s it’ but cryptic messages to ponder about, random posts, staggered reveals… and all culminating and being included and cleared up in a full-scale reveal.

EHG doesn’t do that. They shove some random small bits and bobs at you without context or meaning and then they provide a - also very lackluster - trailer.
There is a reason why LE is always compared to PoE, it’s because the things EHG massively struggles with in general are the things which GGG has down to a ‘T’.

I am aware, yes. Though it’s not really used much at all outside of “bangers & mash”.

Why? A teaser is just a small snippet of content used to whet someone’s appetite GGG definitely are on the maximalist side of things while EHG are on the minimalist side.

No ones curious, there was no excitement other than from the 7 people who played necro and as for something bigger.. what exactly is that? We have no season 5 in sight at all. It’s in the same state it has been for months which is Mike saying “I can’t answer that, I don’t know that, I’m not allowed to say that, it’s in testing, we don’t have a date… oh and we’ll have GTA 9 before season 5”

Curiosity and excitement have long faded from the majority of people which is why each day when I check online numbers theres around 500ish playing and a good chunk of them are probably bots they haven’t managed to ban/figure out how to remove :stuck_out_tongue:
