Is it just me or is the path to empowered Monos too long?

I feel you… Playing Disintegrate Sorc and it is just painful to farm Monos.

You don’t, you only get more loot from the chest in the echo of a world if you kill more mobs.

Ah, this was more of a suggestion/improvement.

The 3 90 monos are always the biggest slog, if there could be a way to do some kind of trial/dungeon to unlock those three timeline bosses quickly or more efficiently would be nice. I’m hopeful that the dev team can find a way to utilize Dungeons to implement such a way

Once you empower the monoliths, how do you go from 100 to 300? Killing Orobyss here and there give you a few points, but is there another way?

You get bigger corruption gains on Orobyss nodes further away from the center, since 0.8.3 other timelines also receive a corruption bonus if you have one timeline that has a higher corruption level

It isn’t just you, even using a mono speedrunning build it takes me HOURS to get to empowered. Slower builds have even more trouble(thus why nobody wants to play slow builds).
A mono speedrunner should be getting to empowered within an hour.

Also Curruption seems to SLOW DOWN your stability gain at low levels, as it goes from 40stability per room down to 20 and takes forever to build back up again. Then you need to go through ten or twenty to do curruption again, even at 19 corruption per run it takes ages to get 100 curruprion on non-empowered, curruption gain needs to be faster across the board.

I consider this important especially after legionaries, as I need to farm certain uniques for legendary potential and without efficient mono farm it just isn’t fun.

Just to add onto this. I just did one of the early 70 Timelines and even that took my whole evening of playing time. i was lucky and did get the amulet i wantet from Formosus but hell Faming this for specific drops is just not fun.
I really like the game but if this doesn’t get a little bit more casual friendly it will not be long till these players move along.
I know that there has to be challenging and grindy content for the Hardcore fans or streamers with hours of playtime per day but thats often not even 10% of a player base. And for these are the new legendaries to optimize and craft the best possible

The Progression in LE is okayish early on but not optimal or rewarding later. I feel like from the story to early Timelines its okay. But once you hit your first decent geared character with t5-t4 correct prefix/suffix and around lvl 80 it sloooooows really down. There arent much upgrades and getting to good blessing and stuff takes time… and this time is well spent with family somtimes…

I hope nwe will see Changes in the future. I want this game and the devs to succeed.

Thanks! Orobyss is fun for a while but I it gets too boring and repetitive. And his numerous skills are not that big of a deal, outside the red dude he spawns sometimes in the middle. I think they need to bring more variety to these end nodes.

Dont take this the wrong way, but theres plenty inaccurate about the arguments made here.

Im not one that type long essays to argue my point and put people down, but i suggest you guys find out more how corruptions work from plenty of resources online.

I do agree corruption feels repetitive but then again what endgame in arpg isnt.

RNG is direct correlated to Repetiveness.

I totally think you are right for the end endgame. Corruption to farm uniques or exalts is fine but its about the way to that.

Thats our point. The way is too long and repetitive. RNG/ Repetiveness are totally ok in an arp endgame. I played D/D2/D3/PoE/ everything there is. I don’t mind it in the real endgame.

But the way should be enjoyable. “That is the way”

In mostly all games the way into the endgame was boring. That’s nothing new but whats your solution?

From my point of view only account wide Monolith access would make sence but then again you have to replay a lot of those for xp. On the other hand it’s the bread and butter of an ARPG to rince and repeate stuff untill you can’t stand it anymore and do something different and as usual I’m a bit suprised people want the core aspect of a hack and slay game changed BUT that’s only my oppinion.

So what do you like to see what are the changes you want? What kind of indepth feedback do you have? I’m pretty sure the devs are realy intrested in ideas to make their game better :).

I’m fine doing it one ONE character, but damn if I’m not just going to quit your game rather than run all that again on another one that Season. There needs to be a fast track way on a secondary character.

How do people do Timelines where it’s taking forever?

When I want to farm the end Boss, I go out from the middle and never go “back” to earlier (aka less valuable) nodes, I just go out-out-out - period. I don’t bother with Corruption/Orobyss at all.

Once I get all the unlocks + all the Blessings + all the boss-only items, that’s when I’ll bother to start farming Orobyss to reset the monos. Or, if I literally run out of room to go outward (I’ve had a web where every single outward node was Orobyss…) then I’ll reset.

Nope I share this feeling as well. I’m hoping they have a good solution for this in the future.

In the future after the release for sure. Right now and at release I think people should play the game to achive something and to increase the lifespan of the content there is. If everything is achivable to fast like the adventure mode in D3 people will cry their eyes out about how little there is to do and how fast the game was beaten ^^.
