Incentive to clear Monolith Maps?

As @Llama8 mentions, I was referring only to the chest drops once you have left the map and then only really related to clearing the map itself.

I was not really concerned with normal drops in the map but your subsequent comments make for interesting reading to try and understand rarity re T level vs number of Ts and how the game defines what rarity actually is…

Love how the devs just leave this for us to muddle through when they are probably giggling somewhere in the background watching us get there eventually… :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s totally what I would be doing (rather than working, obviously).

There is also another factor to take into account when determining “rarity/quality” and that is “usefulness”.

3 good T5 rolls can be far superior to 4 bad T4 rolls on the right item, for the right build.

7% Set GB (T5)
37% CSA (T5)
23% Movement Speed (T5)

vs

4% Set GB (T4)
5 Intelligence (T4)
20% CSA (T4)
16% Movement Speed (T4)

I’d happily trade 5 int for more GB, CSA and Speed if I needed it to go over certain breakpoints.

That’s fairly subjective though. A t7 spell damage affix would be useless for a melee build. Getting higher tiers, or the rarer affixes is more objectively “better”.
