'Igarian poison' node (aura of decay) combined with decrepify causes crazy lags

After 2 min aura is on, the game is unplayable, 0 fps
decrepify allows you not to die.
Only toggling aura off solves problem

Aura of Decay - Icarian poison (very high stack)

This is working as intended. The Icarian Poison node causes a large increase to how often you poison enemies, but also causes poison to be applied to yourself faster and faster as time goes on.

What are your pc’s specs? Does the fps always go very low after a few mins (even in town) or is it just with lots of mobs around?

Yeah, and with the game trying to keep track of tens of thousands of stacks of poison I’m not surprised. I think their intention was that it would kill you if you didn’t toggle it off/on again every so often.

From memory (MASSIVE game breaking bug) Bankaikiller was only getting the massive stacks of armour shred if he used Reaper with Aura of Decay, not just Aura of Decay on it’s own.

sorry, the bug is still there, it has not been fixed, and it doesnt matter if you use reaper form or not, I just tested and can confirm the culprit is igarian poison wtf… this shit was from beginning of april I posted and no fix, or even an update.

and again the easiest fix cap the number of stacks on you lets say by 200
hmm or maybe make cap on stack rate increase

The Icarian Poison node constantly increases how many poison stacks you apply. Since this also damages you, it would kill you before you get anywhere close to the numbers seen here, forcing you to toggle the skill (as intended). With Decrepify also enabled you don’t need to toggle AoD since it doesn’t damage you, so getting to this very high number is still technically intended.

Regardless, we’re going to add a maximum application rate when using this combination for 0.7.9. Thanks!
