During the “boss fight” in the Temple of Heorot quest, some Wengari Axe Throwers followed me in to the boss area, while I was facetanking the Matriarch, the Patriarch spent all of his time buffing the Axe Throwers & none of it casting Avalanche, making the (already fairly easy TBH) fight even easier.
I’ve noticed this before in Monos with Patriarchs & they’ll run about the map trying to buff any mobs you’ve not killed.
Shoosh… dont give away my secrets… I have been using that cheese forever in monos… works like a charm while you deal with the Matriarch…
I’d say that even happen most of times, and avalanches are a minority.
I’m sure all of us being real gamers would never abuse such a bug like this.
