Highest corruption you've reached?

At 560 atm with shadow cascade.

Going to push up to 1000 to join the club if possible.

The challange im trying to create is i need to pay attention or i might die, so that mono doesnt become a mindless threadmail.

Also this whole “keeping corruption at comfortable level for farming” is just lazy and rubbish excuse.

You are only corrupting 1 damn timeline to push your build to the limit. You can leave the others at your “comfortable farming level”

Excuse for what?

In my case, I did push it way further already, but I prefer to be on a difficukly, where I can take any combination of modifiers, that will give me way more freedom In choosing echoes.

Finding out where the limit is is definitely interesting, but that doesn’t mean you need to stay at that level.

That it cant push corruption? sourgrapes? or i dont know, refuse to face reality?

Plenty of “i dont see the need to push corruption” “im keeping mine at 200 to farm omni” people in the chat, when pushing corruption is essentially part of end game.

There is this “threshold” for certain items (which I totally like).

It’s not unreasonable, but still a big hurdle for a lot of players.

But there are people enjoying this game for different reasons and not everybody wants and/or can push this high, due to various reasons.

If they are happy with that, that is fine!

Its funny that you said:

But that exactly is facing reality, when people realize they cant do it or have mor fun, when playing the game less stressed out.

Being aware of what you can’t do or what isn’t fun for one, is a very important part of enjoying video games.

While everybody can have his own opinion I don’t think there is much value in discrediting how certain people play/enjoy video games.

If thats the rational, then can i say

PERSONALLY not pushing corruption to the max is missing out a part of endgame and is no no for ME.

The rest can enjoy the game however they want

What an odd comment… Agressive and insulting for no reason.

Farming is exactly why I run monos right now and to do this, I have to find the most efficient balance of corruption difficulty vs time taken vs reward (loot drops) for the build I am using at that time…

Until there is some other end-game, there isnt really any point for pushing Monos… You dont get anything for clearing 1000 corruption… Other than the proverbial gold star sticker on your forehead.

Exactly. You dont have to ridicule people for this.

Sorry Mr/Ms Congeniality, maybe i could have worded it better. But i dont see why im not allowed to feel a particular way abt others.

Corruption is part of the game and i plan on enjoying everything the game can offer instead of picking and choosing which ones i like.

Its just a question of manners… and learning how to interact with others in a productive and constructive way. You could easily have left all of this out of your comments and still got the point across that you like pushing corruption as part of enjoying the game.

Thank you.

Given that you are German, I’m disappointed that you didn’t have beer with your breakfast.

Highest for me 210, then got bored and did something more worthwhile, watched the grass grow in the back garden.

850 corruption. Bleed Rogue
I stopped to edit my build
What worked perfectly at 300+ now works with 5% efficiency)
Why high corruption? I don’t know, I just want to see the gameplay at 1000.
The game began to throw up modifications that are difficult to be compatible with the life of my character. Now you have to read with which modifiers you go to the boss )
At a high level, you can really build funny modifiers for mobs. For example, once in the echo arena, the mobs’ speed was such that they flew past me twice. And only from the third time they managed to stop near me for a hit)))

I didn’t notice any gameplay incentives for pushing high corruption. For increasing incoming damage from mobs by almost 4 times, I get a bonus 20-30 IR? This suits me as long as it does not affect the speed of the echo pass.

The main motivator is curiosity.
And there is no way to satisfy this curiosity, except to check for yourself. Since 80% of guides and builds are made for 100-300 corruption.

What kind of starting stability do those echos give you at that corruption? Or does it taper off after a certain corruption?

52 - 2nd echo from start
83 - end of the branch
