Experimental items and experimental affix crafting

I looked it up earlier (before my post), and I thought that it takes one of your prefixes and turns it into an experimental one.

I don’t have much experience with that echo yet (I’ve barely had time to play this season yet).

As for LP items… they can drop with the same chance in 100 corruption as in 1000 corruption. LP is separate from corruption, they got a fixed percentile. Corruption only changes the amount of total uniques you drop.

This is incorrect. Corruption affects LP chance. I believe this was added with 1.0 and the corruption rework.

Average legendary potential and weaver’s will now also scale up slightly with corruption. For example, Uniques have around a 5% higher chance for 1+ LP at 100 corruption, 10% at 300 corruption, and 14% at 600 corruption.

Just checked. I actually do have one 776, and I have a 666. I think those are my only two items with triple exalt and/or more than one 7. [shrug] To the grind, then.

You should have more, tbh. Nemesis should be your main source of triple exalted gear. I’ve never gone past 500-ish corruption and I have a bunch of them.

So those items are easier to find, you mean. Not obsolete, but maybe you meant “trivial to find”?

No, they are actually much harder to farm now, particularly on a league starter. There used to be crafting items in the forge menu to seal experimental affixes and turn regular affixes into experimental affixes. You now need that woven echo to do any kind of experimental crafting and it is not available until you are deep into endgame.
