Is it possible for the Evolution’s End Amulet to be included in the npc shop within the wild rifts? The current way of acquiring it is quite tedious, 3x7 wild rifts + 3x nemesis or a conquered tower for a chance to have a usable 1LP, never-mind if you need one with 2+LP.
Evolution’s end has a 1 in 4 chance to drop with 1LP naturally. No need for Nemesis or towers. It even has a 1 in 25 chance to get 2LP, so it’s not unreasonable to get one (I had two in about 12 drops).
It being a “common unique” (in terms of legendary potential level) actually means that the chances a Nemesis will upgrade to LP are lower than the natural drops, it being more likely Nem will simply add legendary affixes.
You must have got hit with the unlucky truck OP - I had 4 or 5 lp2s and an lp3 this season and a ton of lp1s - I also lp2’d some others (not included in the first 4 or 5) in nem towers. It’s really not hard to get and you can get it at an early level I’m definitely not pro-choice of this because it’s a really frigging cool item for levelling and end game
I had only one 2 LP drop with shit rolls in the whole season, about 200 hours. So yea, there should be a better way to drop it
I mean bro it’s level 11 req with crazy good stats and it drops 100% of the time so if you’re collecting LP1s and LP0 you then take the 1’s to the turtle and try upgrade, they hit 0 so then you take all your 0’s and you run through conquered towers to upgrade them and repeat each time. If you’re ditching the 0’s or not taking them through that cycle (after gauntlet combining to get a good base) then that’s on you pal, 200 hours you should have collected a bunch of them unless you weren’t doing every rift encounter you found. You should also be farming rampant coast for chance to get even more of those - this is how I got a lot of primordial items this season 1: drops 2: bones that drop in the map
100% drop rate doesn’t need changing thats insane.
Of course I was using nemesis and turtle.
There are a few things to consider:
- Level requirement is 11, but nemesis upgrade chances are based on LPL, which is 50. It’s 2-3 tries before it bricks with nemesis. Chance to upgrade to 2LP with turtle is pretty low. So this strategy increases the chances, but not significantly, maybe 30-40% more 2LP drops total.
- You need to do somewhere between 20 and 35 rifts to get one amulet.
- Rift spawn rate is about 30% inside normal echoes. They don’t spawn inside weaver echoes, which I was farming about 80% of the time,
- Half of the time I was playing MG, so no LP bonuses, and you can’t buy and sell Evolution’s End in the Bazaar for some reason.
- It has 4 rolls, so even getting one 2LP doesn’t guarantee it’s better than 1LP with good rolls. I didn’t even slam my only 2LP drop.
- There is a 2/3 chance to miss a 2LP slam. If you are lucky it’s 1 try, but it’s not uncommon to fail 5-6 times in a row.
Considering all that, how many hundreds of hours do you think it’s needed to get a 2LP Evolution’s End with good rolls and successfully slam it?
I don’t say it needs a better drop rate. I think it needs more drop sources, for example 10% chance from the fully evolved beast in the Rampant Coast echo
Imagine if people found the smallest map and speed ran start to end looking for RB cave then load out after RB kill then rinsed repeat.
That being said I hope u slam whatever you’re trying to make, but I’d vote against it being a bought item. Only because I’m a fan of chase items and “hard to obtain” items.
Wasn’t that abuse fixed long ago?
And campaign area level is too low to progress the lineage until the amulet drops, as far as I know
Reduced and removed are different, I can’t say for sure as of this very second that it works. I do know you can keep running one echo and have the RB cave respawn from dying a lot in one echo. And having to restart it as I’m stubborn and want that echo completed.
Firstly
20-35 rifts? Are you crazzzzy bro?? To end a lineage;
In Last Epoch Season 3 (Primal Hunts), a Rift Beast lineage typically consists of 4 to 7 evolutions (beasts) before it can be fully completed or “ended” to claim the final rewards.
Obtained from:
- Rift Beast - 100% chance (when you end a Rift Beast Lineage after reaching maximum number of evolutions)
20-35 is just plain wrong. I always max my 7 out and always roll for more bones when doing it not just for the ammy but I stop at about 6 and do something else to take advantage of my beast (god that sounds wrong lmao)
Anyways - 7 rift encounters MAX. There is no chance you’re doing 20-35 encounters to see an amulet, sorry but that’s just out right impossible.
The issues you mentioned: Wrong echos, being MG etc - that’s all shitty. I get that I am on CoF so I get it. I used to be MG until I was taught how to play CoF and do prophecies properly, I’ll never go back.
I do agree with you about rampant coast, I farm it a lot and get a lot of LPx loot that would cost me ton as the vendor and vendor odds to sell items with LP seem much worse than farming rampant with a friend - we put down about 150 between us each time we did the farm sessions - happy to team up with you in next season as well, 3 people = bigger chains of lootz~
Also that spawn rate being 30 is from the weave node you mean, the extra? Because I felt like I was seeing a rift almost every map - when farming them you can also load in, speed for 15 seconds if it doesnt appear on the mini map, load out change map, do that again, come back to the other map. Doing that and having rampant coast imprinted is pretty awesome.
Anyways not trying to mansplain, not being dismissive I am just saying 20-35 is not correct, MG makes things harder and that putting it in the vendor probably wouldnt help, they would add it at 25k bones or more so you’d need to kill just as much stuff to get the bones then the vendor will bend you over with a crap rolled lp0 lol
Turtle is low yep! Nemesis, well https://imgur.com/lhCIovA this an example of how I run towers and upgrade items this is repeated all the time so I know from experience that nem upgrades a lot more regularly.
In terms of your question how many 100s of hours - bro the shitty thing is it’s based off random number generator meaning some lucky prick could login casually in his 70th hour this season, hit his 7th encounter and get an LP3 - yes seen plenty this season. Honestly it doesn’t come down to hours which is why this game is great for casual players and not rewarding in terms of any specific bonus for those of us with no life. I’ve seen a friend with 20+ world splitters at Lp2 brick every single slam and then I’ve seen another guy get one for the first time and hit his only slam on it, luck man.
Sorry I’ve had a LOT of caffiene!
TL;DR - 7 rifts to complete for an amulet. Drop rates 100%. Vendor won’t help. I agree should drop from Rampant cos those guys can be fkn tough at higher corruption. CoF is better than MG once you have learnt it and have your own play strat for items.
PS again - happy to party up next season if you want more loot chances me and 3-4 others get to end game, we farm troves for amber and imprints and cross share items that drop makes the game a lot more fun when you can laugh at friends dying ![]()
I hit enter and went to re-read and got bored lmao that’s how you know your posts too long. Sorry!
I think he means that not all rift encounters lead you to the beast lair (or however it’s called). You usually have 2 encounters where you click the rift and the beast just spawns, thus not advancing the lineage.
So that would be around 21 rifts to finish the lineage, counting the ones where you just fight it without travelling to the lair.
Yeah that’s fair - I had a long reply ready to go (classic lol) then I googled do CoF get more Rift chance and turns out we see more
Based on the game’s mechanics in 1.3 (as of the recent 1.3.1 patch), Circle of Fortune (CoF) players generally see more frequent rift encounters (Rift Beasts/Primal Hunt Rifts) than Merchants Guild (MG) players.
- CoF Bonus for Bosses: The Circle of Fortune rank bonuses directly increase the chance for bosses to drop specific rewards, which includes the spawning of mechanics like Rift Beasts.
Wild, hey @iogann apologies looks like it was bad luck AND being MG that made it harder for you, invites open for next season still. Not long to go now just over 7 weeks!
Anyways apologies for such a long ass post earlier - end notes still - happy to party! CoF is better and they should add ammy to Rampant ;D
I think he’s talking about all the mono rift beast encounters, as well. But 2 doesn’t sound right either. I’ve noticed the higher the ‘tier’ on the beast (5, 6, or 7) the intermediate encounters are more frequent. I feel like when going going from 5 to 6 or 6 to 7 I’ll often have three or four intermediaries. The lower tiers are definitely only 1 or 2. I think that’s why he’s getting between 20-35.
But, truth be told, I haven’t been paying that much attention, I just do them when I need to regardless to get to 7 for the amulet drop.
