Elemental Nova Proc While Channeling

I noticed while channeling focus if I proc elemental nova via a “cast elemental nova when hit” idol with the channeling node allocated it will continue to channel while I channel focus. This may (I’d say probably) be the case for other / all channeling skills besides focus, but I haven’t tested others. I posted about it an another area of the forum and was directed to a march '20 post stating this was a bug in the past, so I figure I’d post it here as well since its likely not working as intended.

Chance to cast Elemental Nova + focus

Not sure if this is a bug or working as intended but… I can simply teleport into a group of mobs, channel focus, and have elemental nova triggered by attacking mobs which because I have converted it to a channeled skill on the skill tree it will run indefinitely, and because I am channeling focus I will not run out of mana. So can permachannel elemental nova. I have 19% chance to trigger elemental nova from idols.

Elemental Nova on Hit and Focus

Found something quite nice : 20% Chance to cast elemental nova on hit from Idols Elemental Nova as a channeled spell Waiting from enemies to hit me while channeling Focus Once the first Elemental nova is casted the channeling of elemental nova start and end only when I stop channeling Focus. So I’m channeling two spells at the same time, Focus, giving me my mana back, and Elemental Nova, killing ennemies. It’s pretty fun to see and with focus i’m really sturdy so it’s helpful, but it may not…
