Mike once said on his stream that before they stopped implementing sets (when they realized they would need to change them) they were working on a bee set. So that is probably it.
Most likely all the stuff you found that isn’t in LETools is just relics of old stuff that never got put in the game but wasn’t removed so it might be used at some point.
Interestingly enough, neither Razorfall nor Stealth show up under the Unique boots in that database. It must not be kept up-to-date as these were some of the last items added along with the Harbingers. The Flesh of Stone armor does however show up there.
That’s why they’re legacy. If you had one from before you can keep it, but it doesn’t drop anymore.
Like Gambler’s Fallacy. It used to be part of a quest (or an alternative to the quest) but it was removed. They changed it to Soul Gambler’s Fallacy and that’s the one that can randomly drop now (it can also have LP now, since it’s not a quest item anymore).
What exactly is the purpose of this thread here? I am confused
Anyway
Soul Gambler’s Fallacy is not a random drop. It is one of a few exclusive rewards from one of the dungeon. All of the rewards are upgraded versions of existing uniques that could be obtained guaranteed in the campaign. To avoid people creating new characters and farming these over and over again to get high LP versions EHG disabled LP on the guaranteed campaign versions and added these upgraded versions that can be continously farmed.
I wanted more experienced eyes to check the items i found to help me make sure i did not miss an item in the database and claim by accident that is not currently available. Some of the items are not updated on the database, sometimes i could not find them, but others could.
If you want to check them over like the others did it would be great
I assume you didn’t just search for “stand” in the database? Or look in the unique bow section?
LE tools gets its data from the game files, just fyi. Though i suspect that Dammitt doesn’t show items that haven’t been enabled yet. Though he does show the old helm/chest bases from before the rework.
Those are legendery (idols) at least based on the tooltips in game since they come with 2 legendary potential, something that idols cant get. The name is also not in the data base for one them
I did, but some of the items names in the files does not match the item name. They got one name, but the item itself is different- one of the ones is called the MONOLITH, but it just drops a shield called the slab. I searched for its drop name but was unable to find it. Makes things complicated.
Ofc when i checked over 900+ ITEMS mistakes are gonna happen. Many eyes, helps catch mistakes
All of those idols you linked are unique idols that are in the game. Since you used a mod the fact that you got them to drop as legendaries means that part (the legendary bit) can’t be trusted & is most likely one of the other settings in the mod.
Well, yes but not quite. LP was presumably disabled long before, since when I started playing at 0.9.2, these items were all awarded from quests and couldn’t get LP.
And then, with 1.0, they removed gambler’s fallacy from the quest. But you still get the gloves.
Yeah, that’s what I meant. Was induced in error from his terminology.
Well yes, but exactly like that
LP was never “disabled”, it was never enabled for these when they got added.
The 3rd item is not a quest item but a once per character guaranteed drop from a “somewhat hidden” named mob.
And then because of the feedback of the community they added these upgraded versions.
Can’t bearsed to go back through all the posts/i.ages of stiff in the game that’s been in LE tools since it was added. What “third item”? Orchirian’s Petals?
According to a thread i read, they mention that the game guide specifies that idols cant get LP. I cant answer to you if its been disabled or enabled. The game files still allow up to 7 affixes per item (6+1 sealed affix). Probably from beta, as i remember someone on here mentioned that items at one point had 6 affixes.
The devs do not allow you to have more then 4+1, but the game still supports it. Its kind off odd choice then to artificially handicap the player
That is the most stupid thing I have read in a while. Yes the game had 6 affixes a looooong time ago, but taking away maximum number of affixes is not a handicap, if the game is balanced around that amount of affixes, quite the opposite, it makes affixes more interesting and meaningful.
Why do we not have 300 passives points to spend? Why do the devs handicap us in only having 113 passive points…
