Crit Success Crafting

I crafted a Vitality prefix onto a helm and got a “Critical Success” pop-up, but the affix is still T1.

Does your item have other Affixes? Critical success can go to your other affixes instead of the one you are upgrading

It had Armor and Poison Resist suffixes. I know the Poison Resist didn’t change. I’m not sure if the armor did, but it is currently T4.

I thought the crit success only happened on the affix you were currently trying to add.

We are thus experimenting with the addition of a counterpoint for fractures, which we are tentatively terming a ‘critical success’. A critical success will be called out similarly to a fracture, and will cause an affix to be upgraded to a higher tier. This is most likely, but not guaranteed, to be the affix you had been crafting at the time. Please note that a critical success cannot raise an affix above Tier 5, which is the highest tier that can be crafted.
