We do have a small suspicion that something related to Glyph of Stability, is messing with fracture chance. We’ve had too many reports of it happening above 90% to say that it’s pure Rng. So it is something we are investigating.

I don’t think that was referencing me haha unless thats from November of 2019 when I lost marbles on stream from fracturing 4 items in a row over 90%. I have since seen a counselor and learned to live with the problem… But yeah there were alot of streamers complaining at one point

So the Crafting Target is "All Items Fractured"?

After crafting many items i finally ask myself, why all my self crafted items are “FRACTURED” > because this is the max crafting state before it comes creepy, and further than that, you sincerly break items which is no fun to see after endless grind and invested time… And i honestly ask myself each time i open my Inventory, if i like the fact that i have a whole yellow Item set of “FRACTURED” and so almost broken gear which i cant ever improve any further… This whole Fractured and Damagin…

Fun or Frustrating? My experience w/ crafting

I rarely take chances. But today I decided to “Gamble”. I had a 1 % chance of damage and a 74% chance of success, with a 24% chance of shatter. The item was my best chest piece. The shard was a rare affix that I spent a good part of the last few days tediously scanning gear for. Thrilled to finally find one, ecstatic to have successfully extracted the rare shard with a shatter rune, I placed the chest piece into the Forge. I was mentally prepared for a shatter. I think the crafting system seriously needs to be reworked/removed

I think there’s a large issue with the current end game gearing/crafting system at the moment. Primarily that it’s essentially a system of trying to overcome RNG/Loss through # of attempts and use of glyphs to try and mitigate the RNG. Without trying to sound accusatory, I think RNG is a crutch developers rely on because it’s an easy way to create a system that is addictive in nature. Random rewards have a much higher dopamine response than expected/earned rewards. You can look into this fairly…
