Hello could we please get an update to the icons in CoF observatory.
What specifically triggered this (today) was looking for General Runes rewards.
Even just a “simple” temporary fix of having a the first letter of the rune reward as the icon, until a better fix comes would work.
Examples; Rune of Shattering = Letter S icon, General Ruins = G, Ruins of Creation = C… etc. Even arbitrarily number icons 1,2,3… just something to identify the reward type. Please and thank you for any consideration.
There might be many implications (internally or externally) of changing these icons around since they are present in other locations, visually. It could bring a little bit of confusion if we were to change any of the icons here and nowhere else.
With that being said, I can understand how this could feel when you’re searching for something specific and may not be familiar with specific icons. I’ll still share this feedback for you, though.
We do plan on continuing on work to improve CoF/MG as mentioned in our roadmap here.
Thanks for the reply and I understand even if describing something sounds simple. The actuality complexity of any suggestion may be harder then deleting the game and starting from scratch.
And even if said suggestion is in reality an easy fix the simplicity of the implementation isn’t the only factor. And things such as limited resources like; time, money, personal, debugging, etc.
I also understand thanks to continual dev open communication, which is most welcomed. when possible the devs will inform players of awareness of player concerns and have intentions of addressing them when possible if deemed it would lead to positive growth of the game.
Just as a post note I wish there was a place players could look and see a list of player concerns they are away of. Not as a place for information on upcoming content, just a way for players to have some form of reassurance that player feedback isn’t sent to the void. Again I understand limited resources.
