After updating with the patch today, I can no longer enter the game with my offline characters. I only play offline due to connectivity issues and only wanting to play solo, so I can no longer play this game. I just got my first character to 100 and now I have to find a new game. Thanks…

The team was working on the Offline Character Issue late into the night and will be tackling it again as soon as they clock on today - I’m currently reading all of the information they have gathered and gathering information from players as well!
If you are playing in Offline, not True Offline mode, please submit an In Game Bug Report from the Character Select Screen after attempting to load in!
Averielle, thanks again for the update and confirmation that they Devs are aware and working on the problem! I want to add that I also found out this morning (I’m in Japan), that the same problem happens for online characters if I’m online, and switch to offline, then back to online. After that when I try to login to a character, it shows connecting the first time, then nothing happens at all when clicking enter from character screen. I have to completely shut down the game, and restart, then I can enter the game with an online character. Note: I only created the online character to test and have something to do until I can access offline again. Online is so laggy that most of the time, it is almost unplayable with the constant freezes and severe delayed reactions to skills and actions. I need offline back 
I’m having the exact same issue. Both online and Offline won’t load characters. I can’t launch the game at all for me. I even tried to create a new character, and it lets me make the character, pick what version, and then it goes to the game loading screen and gets stuck there.
