Just updated game to 8.4 and when i try to create a new character, the create button doesn’t do anything.
Things i have tried:
Restart client
Verify Files
Creating characters for classes i previously haven’t played
All types of new characters (solo/ not, HC, SC, Mas, etc)
Posted message in discord with a video link (cant upload video here)
Can log into other characters just fine.

What is the name you’re trying to use? Do you have another character with that name?
I have tried different names, so far no repeats.
Sorry name was lastepog

Update,
I was able to create a character. Though it still appears to be a weird issue. Was clicking on Spellblade and back to mage, still failed.
I then changed my name from Lastepog, to lastepoggers clicked spellblade, then mage and was able to create

The log shows an error message: cannot create duplicate character spellblade
Could still be a bug but it seems like the game thinks that you already had a character of the same name… which would explain why you were able to make a new character with the changed name… There might be a corrupted savegame that is not showing up with a character of the first name…
