Beloved devs, why Krafton, but not Tencent?

As bad as Krafton is, Tencent is worse. They’re even more incompetent.

How is Tencent worse? Sure, I can see the argument about their ties to the CCP and all, however their track record is mostly being completely hands-off on global game versions and only meddling in the Chinese versions.

GGG is owned fully by Tencent and yet PoE is still designed to let you enjoy all the content without spending a single dime - compared to EHG which is now contemplating a paid content DLC despite promising that once you buy LE, you’ll get access to everything except cosmetics.

Where the proving that the addon will be for money?

? If you want to enjoy all of PoE’s content, you must buy stash tabs (at least currency & map) after like 30 hours.

Poe doth not agree with thee.

I have no stash tabs (except the default four) and am running T5-6 maps. Sure, space is tight but buying tabs is not a hard requirement to enjoying the game.

If EHG didn’t intend it to be paid, why would they not confirm that it’s going to be free? Why be opaque and say “we’re still deciding on pricing”?

That has always been that way, though. Long long before Tencent even looked at PoE.
The only thing they added since Tencent bought them which could be argued to fall into this category is the Kirac pass, but that only gives you MTX.

I don’t remember what they would say. They said wait for further news.
