Altars, refracted slots and unique idol requests

Good day, I would like you to consider making idol altars and unique idols interact more.

The reason I personally want this (currently) is the new shaman tide elemental skill and the unique grand idol that makes tide elemental fire and gains fire pen based off of your fire resistance.

Currently idol altars have affix’s that can make either prefix or suffix’s(or both) in refracted spots have a bigger impact. As far as I know/remember the modifiers on the idols are not counted as either a prefix or a suffix.

I believe you may be able to interact with the altars buffs to affix’s and unique idols through adding an affix with a corruption ruin, but I’m unsure if that’s correct.

Maybe in a future update or content release an affix can be added to the alter affix pool that interacts. With unique idols through adding modifiers into possible altar affix’s.

I understand if this idea is considered and with all suggestions/changes balancing matters and that’s fair. Just if possible please consider this ideas concept before the balancing or power scaling considerations that need to be made.

There may be a way to do this currently that I have missed or forgotten but I don’t believe so.

P.S. I’m going to include a build planner link for quick reference to see the idol and altar affix’s that started this thought. It’s a work in progress build nothing special I’m just trying to go nuts with nados :grin: and make a funny but viable build.

P.P.S. Can weaver system or weaver specific unique idols be a thing?

Unique Idols modifier are not prefixes/suffixes, but all non unique Idols modifiers are prefixes/suffixes.

Just move you unique idol out of the refracted slots and use them for regular idols.

Did you intentionally place the relic this way in the provided planner or you just placed it randomly for the example ?

it was just for the example, ive actually abadoned that build idea for https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/legionone/character/legionfourteen and the way tornado and tide interact. currently im waiting to see if its a but that if u make the tornados attach 2 u that the tide wont summon any tornados(it does if nados dont attach 2 u). that being said i still want uni idols and altars refracted spots to engage with each other.
