Hello there,
for my paladin I skilled Judgement-RigheousDecree to have a Smite-Procc on Judgement cast. As passive, I skilled Alignment, which shoul boost the healingeffect of Smite by 30% (1of8 Alignment).
Well id does, if Smite is cast manually (buff stays until cast) - the Icon of Alignmentbuff disappears after a cast.
When I dont have Smite on my actionbar, the Alignmentbuff just flickers every 3 seconds (I hovered the cursor over the buff, so the tooltip stayed).
When I have Smite on my actionbar, the buff stays, until I cast Smite manually - if I use Judgement, which casts Smite, the buff stays active, waiting for a manual Smite-Cast.
