Before the Ancient caverns during precipice ruined era, after defeating the giant worm in act 2 a time rift appeared but i portal’d to the town to sell my equipment first. When I portal’d back the mini map still had the “rings” indicating the spot but no portal. The only way I got it to spawn was logging out, then in, beating the worm boss again, and the time rift appeared. please advise thank you.
Unfortunately this is just how this works, when you portal out and back in, it resets the scene. In this case since a boss is the trigger to spawn a portal, you will have to kill the boss again to progress. This is because of technical defaults in single player.
