Acid Flask with Pools create massive FPS drop

I am throwing around 11 Acid Pools and that tanks alot of the frames, even worse if it hits a big group of enemies.

Could be all of those green fumes effects stacking on top or the reflections of the Pools?

Especially the Flask coming out of the Decoy.

Hey… There are performance issues in the game - especially around aoe effects (try a lightning mage or earthquake build) and large number of minions . Not entirely sure what can be done about it specifically for now but the devs have been addressing performance issues with each patch so things are improving. We just have to trust that they will get to everything by 1.0.

Peoples system specs obviously also make this more of an issue for some and most of the time setting game graphics etc down to low / performance does help. The game is also pretty CPU intensive in some situations so older systems can occasionally hiccup on “busy” moments.

Poison pools used to be a problem way back for other classes and this seems to have come back with the Rogues ability to drop so many.

If it is something you really need a response to then you may have to follow the instructions on https://support.lastepochgame.com/ as its likely they will need far more info on your specific setup to recommend a solution (if any is available).

Giving this a bump. Game runs fine but with this skill there’s always a FPS drop. Hope they have eyes on this. I mean, I’m sure they’re aware but still.

Removing passives that lower acid pool generation (i.e. throw one flask instead of multiple) increases FPS.

We have this recorded, we’ll take a look.

I revisited the Build today since 0.8, and haven’t had a serious lag spike it is just a very small hitch when Decoy explodes into Flasks and it hits alot of enemies.

Yeah, we took a peek. It’s not the effect itself, it’s one of our key performance issues that we’re currently already in the process of fixing, which is optimizing the spawning of things.
