I may be just getting old but crafting fell off my radar. I messed with it a little early game (pre lvl 10) but really didn’t get it. By the time it was a Quest, I had already forgotten all about it and moved on. I’d like to see the concept expanded on and maybe force me to create a weapon early on. I was picking up shards for 30 levels unsure what for. Still not 100% sure… I still gamble for my stuff.

The crafting introduction will definitly come earlier, devs already said that (prob council chambers). The idea to actually craft a weapon, rather then just going to the forge and get the quest rewards i would also welcome! Something like we had to do in skyrim for the blacksmith.

agree that some more advanced crafting tutorial must be added and sooner.
it will be nice for a player to get it around lvl 15

There was an answer to a similar feedback short time ago. No promises that it will be changed soon, but still a nice answer
