While leveling Static + Lightning Blast Sorcerer, I noticed that putting points into Spellblade’s Incinerating Aura neither increased the tooltip DPS of the Fire Aura skill nor increased the damage it dealt to enemies.
The area of effect increase is functional from what I can see.
Unfortunately, that node currently won’t affect the tooltip DPS of Fire Aura. We’ll be looking to correct that as we improve tooltips. However I haven’t been able to reproduce the issue of it not increasing damage dealt to enemies. Do you have any additional information that could help track it down?

I hadn’t looked at it properly before, was only speaking from observation as I levelled. I just remember at 0 points it was doing about 65 damage per tick to monsters, and at 6 it was doing the same damage.
But now that I’m testing it on the dummy in End of Time, you’re right. It is increasing its DPS properly. I guess I jumped to conclusions, sorry.
